INVESTOR INFORMATION

CAH  |  CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

As the airport supervisor, CAH manages and guarantees the progress of all the daily activities.

CAH bears the responsibility to ensure that a continuous improvement process is followed to keep the airport competitive in its services and infrastructure. The recent terminal expansion allows for a maximum of 2.5 million passengers to pass through our airport each year. We are currently at 1.4 million passengers a year, indicating that we have sufficient room to grow.

Next to this, CAH is owner of more than 450 hectares, whereby more than 200 hectare is available to be developed immediately. Our objective for the future is to actively develop the emerging Airport surroundings into a dynamic area featuring innovative activities and to run it as a professional landlord.

Setting a high standard for doing business with green resources will lead Curaçao to a more sustainable future. In addition, by attracting new industries we aim to decrease the amount of imports and increase the amount of exports of food products.

CAH: To assure the continuous operation of a high quality airport in Curaçao and to acquire, develop, support and manage value-added business activities that contribute to the economic growth of Curaçao.

OPERATIONS SUPERVISION THE GATEWAY TO ECONOMIC GROWTH
CAH has a role in the stimulation of additional air traffic. The current majority of traffic in Curaçao is origin and destination traffic (locals, visiting business people, tourists and cargo destined to the island). The airport has a great potential to influence more discretionary traffic, such as technical stops, transshipment of cargo and passenger transit, connecting South America and the Caribbean to North America and Europe.
